Starting point

HDI TH!NX develops IoT-based solutions for risk management in industrial insurance. Over four years, the team had assessed and developed more than 40 IoT use cases.

This led to the goal of a new technical core: a cloud-based IoT platform on which a wide range of use cases can be developed – with reusable components that save time and resources.

Implementation

As development partner, codestryke supported HDI TH!NX in conceiving and developing the cloud-based IoT platform. After about a year of development, the new technical core was completed at the start of 2024.

The platform has a modular design: reusable components form the basis on which new use cases are built without starting from scratch each time. The insights from the more than 40 use cases fed into the design.

In 2024, codestryke continued to develop the platform and worked on the first use cases.

Result

At the start of 2024, HDI TH!NX presented the platform as its new technical core – in its own words, a significant leap forward in insurance and risk management. New IoT use cases can now be built on a common foundation, with reusable components saving time and resources.
